Didn’t know I know Latin did you? Well, I don’t but Google definitely makes it look like I do! Iungo iunxi iunctum literally translates as “to join”. Today Noah and I officially became members of Calvary Bible Evangelical Free Church of Boulder, aka Calvary Bible. We attended the 2 1/2 hour membership class this afternoon. After the class everyone had to sit down for a brief interview with either an elder (there were 5 there) or the pastor. We sat down with the pastor and after asking us about our salvation he signed off on our membership covenants. Just like that, we’re in. Gone are our Ventura Baptist Church memberships and welcome are memberships to Calvary Bible Church! It’s nice to finally be official after attending the church for 20 months. 😀
