From Bronco to Mariner to Cougar to Pirate to Gaucho to Cardinal.

A list of mascots for all the schools I’ve attended since kindergarten, with the addition of Ball State University. Now, why would I care about a mascot for David Letterman’s Alma Mater in Indiana? I’ve never even been to Indiana! Oh that’s right, because I was accepted into their graduate school!! And no, I’m not moving to Indiana!

I was accepted to the MA in Applied Behavior Analysis with emphasis in Autism program (even got my fancy acceptance letter in the mail)! In layman’s terms, I will be studying to become a behavior therapist. The program is offered entirely online, which boasts well for me since I have no desire to move to Indiana, I work full-time and have a son to raise. Whew, I already feel exhausted and my first class won’t be until August!

I’m excited and nervous for this opportunity. I haven’t been in college for 7 years – hopefully I’ll be able to quickly jump back into the swing of things! Then there are the aforementioned challenges of working full time and going to school plus spending quality time with Logan! Can’t miss out on that!

But I know that God made it possible for me to get into this program so he will make a way for me to get through it! Deep breaths! 🙂
