Why is it that vacations always go by too fast? I’ve been off work since Wednesday and am now down to one day off left (that being tomorrow). Of my time off I have only seen Noah on Thanksgiving. The rest of the time he has been at work or working on the basement. I’m ready for this project to be done. On the plus side, I hope to have the 3rd wall in the bedroom done or 95% done tonight. I just have touch-ups left to do and the baseboard. I’m actually taking a break from it now…I’m losing too many brain cells from the fumes!
This year for Thanksgiving we spent the day with friends. Once more I am thankful Ben Franklin was out voted. The food was delish! Yesterday I braved the crowds…or lack there of to hit a couple of stores. The perks of small town shopping is no lines! Either that or I have an ability to pick the best times to go shopping. 🙂 What topped yesterday off was that last night it snowed! A real snow this time and I had no idea it was coming! What started out as rain turned over to a frozen mix and then to all snow. By morning we had 2″ of snow on the ground. Not a lot, but enough to blanket everything and stick to tree branches. I took some pictures, but have not yet uploaded them. Now, it really feels more like Christmas with snow on the ground. I’m ready for more!
